Buckingham Palace confirms Duchess Kate is 'not pregnant with twins'

I was surprised when I saw the cover of celebrity gossip magazine 'Star' claiming that the Duchess of Cambridge was expecting twins, a boy and and a girl. (These gossip magazines are very thorough :)) The magazine claiming they had a reliable source wrote 'William almost collapsed with joy and relief when Kate told him she was pregnant. The palace was buzzing with word that the first ever royal twins were on the way'. The article continued to strangely write about the fact that the Duchess was struggling to gain weight.

A representative from Buckingham Palace has denied these rumours saying 'Suffice to say that were it true, it would be us to announce it not a gossip magazine'. This is the third time 'Star' has claimed that the Duchess is pregnant. It may be a case of printing the story so many times it has to be true eventually! I know many people are hoping for news that Duchess Kate is pregnant, In my opinion it will be a while. I think she will adjust to married life. William said in their engagement interview 'Obviously we want children'. William and Kate do things at their own pace, Perhaps they will wait until William completes his work with the RAF?


 The only information Buckingham Palace has recently released about the Cambridges has been in relation the the enormous success of Kate's wedding dress display which is estimated to pull in £8 million. The display has been their most successful to date.

Kate heads down the aisle again!

It may be the first time we have seen the newly crowned Duchess of Cambridge since her wedding but Kate has proved she hasn't changed.  Kate was spotted shopping at her local waitrose accompanied by five protection officers. She was seen 'trolley skating' and talking to locals in Anglesey, Wales. Seen clutching a shopping list, wearing black flats, skinny jeans and a green cardigan, she seems to be settling into domestic bliss quite happily. Pasta, Washing powder, chocolate biscuits and pizza were among her purchases. According to shoppers she was checking prices and looking for value. It has been reported that William and Kate privately call each other 'Mr and Mrs Wales' William was involved in the rescue of a 70 year old man at his work with the RAF.

The Down To Earth Duchess shops in Tesco and enjoys a romantic stroll with William!

After an exciting weekend in Scotland celebrating the wedding of Zara Philips and Mike Tindall, William and Kate were eager to get back to normal. The couple decided to enjoy a leisurely, romantic stroll in a park close to the grounds of Holyroodhouse where the wedding reception was held. Walking hand in hand the carefree couple looked happy and in love. (Which we all love to see :)) Duchess Kate looked beautiful as always with her hair swept back into a high ponytail. She wore dark skinny jeans, a purple sweater and jeans. 

William and Kate then returned to their permanent residence in Anglesey, Wales where Kate was photographed shopping in her local Tesco in Holyhead. Can you imagine shopping in your local Tesco and running into royalty? Not something one would expect! Kate spent around half an hour picking up essentials such as Kellogg's cereal and plastic bags. Again Kate wore the same purple sweater, this time teamed with a black and white checkered scarf by Aquascutum, blue skinny jeans and black flat shoes. I think Kate pulls off casual chic excellently, She looks effortlessly stylish in these photos. Despite being the Duchess of Cambridge it is clear she is eager to maintain a normal life. With William returning to work as a RAF pilot, Kate is enjoying the role of housewife until royal duties call again!
