Lady in red Kate attend friends wedding in Collette Dinnigan dress

Yesterday William and Kate attended the wedding of friends Tom Sutton and Harriet Colthurst at St Mary and St Nicholas Church in Wilton, Wiltshire. Kate was joined by her friend Louise Aubrey-Fletcher as William had arrived earlier to fulfill his duties as usher. Kate looked absolutely stunning in red. As you all know I think red is her color :) After toning it down at recent weddings it's nice to see her in a more daring color.

It was also reported Kate spent four hours in a hair salon on Kings road on Friday. This was obviously in preparation for the wedding. Her hair looks fabulous. William was also spotted today enjoying a pre wedding lunch with the groom and fifteen ushers at 'The Ship Inn' in Burcombe before going to the service with Kate, He even left a £100 tip. A member of staff said

'There were range rovers driving up and down outside and then a member of special branch came in and a group of people obviously going to a wedding and I looked over and there he was. It wasn't what you expect to happen in Burcombe and they were all very nice. It was really exciting'.

Next we will be seeing Kate on Thursday officially opening a hospital untit with William, Looking forward to seeing what she wears. McQueen or high street? I have a feeling she may recycle. In the meantime I will update with confirmation on the dress and fascinator. You never know, We may have a surprise sighting before Thursday :)

The Duchess of Cambridge wears dress by William's ex to charity gala fundraiser

After keeping a very low profile since their Royal visit to the Royal Marsden hospital, William and Kate last night attended a charity gala held in St James' Palace by 'One hundred women in hedge funds'. It was an important event for the coupe who were guests of honour at the black tie event as William is patron of the fundraising city organisation and child bereavement charity. The charity supports families when a child dies or is bereaved. I couldn't think of two more important organisations for the couple to support. I think they take their role very seriously and by highlighting the work these charities do it will help them receive the recognition and support they deserve. The event raised over £675,000.

Prince William gave a touching speech before dinner was served.

"I find it enormously rewarding and gratifying to observe how two organisations which means so much to me are working so superbly with one another. What you are both doing to alleviate the suffering of children who have lost family members, and bereaved families who have experience the tragedy of losing a child is beyond praise".

Over three hundred women from the hedge fund industry attended.

For fans of Duchess Kate's style (like myself). I was very excited to see her choice of dress. I've often mentioned I think red is Kate's colour and she looked beautiful with her worn in loose curls. I also love how natural her make up is. As the dress is so long we do not know what shoes Kate wore, Perhaps the Prada shoes she wore with her Collette Dinnigan lace dress recently?

Kate's stunning gown is the Sarai dress by Beulah London. A new upmarket label for Kate, I will include plenty of information in Beulah in the Where Kate Shops page over the weekend. The silk dresses dress has a v neck, chiffon sleeves, and a sash on the waist. It's beautiful and very elegant. The colour works brilliantly against Kate's dark hair.
It's also available in blue. You wont be surprised to hear it sold out within a couple of hours, However if you are interested in purchasing the dress you can pre order it Here.(With many thanks to What Kate Wore) It is available in sizes 6-14.

"The Sarai dress is made from the finest silk jersey and chiffon fabric. Seen on the likes of Kate Middleton and Cat Deeley and a favourite of Kate Moss and and Laura Bailey, there is no doubt this has been our best seller. The piece is very versatile and can be dressed up with a pair of killer heels and elegant clutch bag, or dressed down with a leather jacket and ballet pumps. Available in navy, dzzling blue and fiery red. The gorgeous dress is currently on  4-6 week lead time as we are currently making more stock".

Kate also carried the glittery Charlie clutch by Wilbur and Gussie. Pippa carried the same clutch with her to the Boodles boxing ball. (I do wonder if they shared :)) It is currently selling for £140.

"The Charlie is Wilbur and Gussies' signature clutch bag. It's a small 100% silk envelope style clutch with an optional wrist strap, and an inside pocket for credit cards and cash. Looks super chic and holds all your essentials."

There was more to Kate's choice of dress than meets the eye. Regal Eyes on Twitter (I would seriously advise following him for all the latest news on Kate if you're a tweeter) reported Beulah is owned by none other than William's ex Natasha R Isaacs. I quite admire Kate for wearing a dress by her husbands ex, I'm not sure every woman would do it...... Natasha is dating Kate's ex Rupert Finch. Both of them attended the Royal Wedding. It really is a small world isn't it? :)

The Child Bereavement Charity expressed their gratitude to the Cambridge's on twitter. It never ceases to amaze me the effect a high profile person can have. It's wonderful the royal couple use this influence for good.

William and Kate both looked very happy, Despite the endless speculation there are no signs Duchess Kate is expecting. They are doing an excellent job representing the royal family. Wonderful to see new photo's of the couple.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend :)
