The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge began day four of the royal tour with a visit to the Asskyakrin mosque in Kuala Lumpur, their first visit to a place of Islamic worship.

Kate wore a head scarf and and took off her shoes before she entered the mosque.

It is the first visit to a mosque by the future head of the Church of England. It comes as anti US protests spread over the middle east.

Earlier this morning the Duke and Duchess opened the Jubilee room at the British High Commission.

Kate was given a bouquet of flowers. Several tweeters noted they looked like a bride and groom in this photo :)

Hello Malaysia Twitter

The couple attended a highly musical and energetic musical event. It was a wonderful opportunity for the royals to experience the diversity and richness of Malaysian culture.

The park was was designed by Brazilian architect Roberto Burle Marx. When the park was designed the aim was to 'leave the world a little more sensitive and a little more educated to the importance of nature'. The park features many combinations of man-made design such as water features and natural features such as trees, shrubs and sculptures.

Kate wore a long sleeve knee length white dresss by Beulah London with long billowing sheer sleeves and buttons on the front.

The dress is thought to be a custom made piece. Possibly a modified version of the £540 Holly Dress from the Autumn/Winter 2012 Collection.

The dress is also very similar to the Beulah London Blossom Dress Kate wore to the wedding of Alice St John Webster and Gerald Alvenel in June.

************

Terrible news for William and Kate today.

Richard Palmer Twitter

A French magazine is planning to publish topless photos of Kate taken during the couple's short break in the Luberon last week. I was shocked to hear this and think it a disgraceful invasion of privacy. Yes, William and Kate are public figures and the occasional candid photo is to be expected but the publication of topless photos taken during a private holiday at a relatives (Lord Linley the Queen's nephew) home is quite simply wrong. No doubt very upsetting news for William and Kate, especially in the middle of an overseas tour. William is not a fan of the media and this will do nothing to improve relations. Needless to say the photos/link to the magazine in question will not be posted on the blog.

The Cambridges will consider their legal options when they are sure the photos are genuine.

Kate's Date Night With 150 Kids

Duchess Kate had a date with 150 kids from her patronage The Art Room this evening. She invited the children for a production of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' in Kensington Gardens. Daily Mail Royal Correspondent Rebecca English was at the event and very kindly shared news and photos via Twitter.

Rebecca English Twitter

Prince William opted to stay in and watch the football (no doubt the Prince will be pleased England beat Sweden 3-2).

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is described as 'an enchanting theatrical experience'. Allowing children to open a door and enter a spectacular new world with their favourite characters as they journey through the magical land of Narnia. Set against the backdrop of Kensington Palace this is a very special show.

A look at the hugely popular Lion.

Winter time in Narnia.

Kate joked with the children asking if the show had been too scary for them:

'No screaming too loud. I can now see your faces in the crowd so if you scream I know who you are'.

During the interval she said to the children:

'Did you see all the animals on stilts and wasn't Lucy cute? Wasn't it amazing? I just loved the way it is held in a tent. Really clever. What I really want to know is have any of you tried turkish delight?'.

Kate commented that she loved the fact that the event was only a hop from her house.

Many of the children had never seen a show before so it was a memorable night for them. Lovely to see Kate taking her role as patron so seriously. I do believe she works incredibly well with children.

The Art Room said the children had a 'wonderful evening' with Kate.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive at Calgary Stampede as Canadian tour comes to an end

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived at Bow Valley College for the Calgary stampede. Sadly today is the final day of the Canadian tour. It has been magnificent in my opinion. (I will do a post on the finest moments of the tour when they depart) After the stampede the couple will attend a reception hosted by the Alberta government before their official departure ceremony. Is anyone else excited to see them attend the glitzy BAFTA party?

Kate is again wearing her stetson, with a Temperly rodeo white blouse and jeans. I love her blouse. You can purchase it HERE They couple are favouring the cowboy look for the second day in a row. Duchess Kate's hair looks amazing as always.  William is wearing the same shirt as yesterday, Who would have ever thought we would see the future Kind and Queen of England wearing cowboy outfits two days in a row? :) The couple watched in amazement as a cowboy rode a 1700lb bull down the street, Not quite what they are used too.........I'm thinking we may see an outfit change for the next event!
I will update with better photos and news a.s.a.p.!
