Hello to you all,
William and Kate have departed from London and are scheduled to arrive at Changi International Airport at 2 p.m. SGT. For those of you hoping to follow tour events as they happen, is the time difference difficult to contend with where you are? We're seven hours behind Singapore here in London, so copious amounts of coffee are likely to be consumed over the next nine days :) Unlike the Canada tour, today's departure was a private one.

The Cambridges will be staying in one of Singapore's most striking landmarks, Raffles Hotel. The luxurious hotel lies in the heart of the city and is no stranger to royal guests. The Queen and Prince Philip stayed there during their state tour of Singapore and it seems a fitting choice for William and Kate.

William and Kate are most likely resting before their arrival and making last minute preparations. Kate will be getting her hair done, changing into her arrival outfit, applying her skincare products (reportedly Karin Herzog) and make up. Amanda Cook-Tucker will be perfecting Kate's hair.
