Kate in Floral-Print Erdem For Eden Hall Reception

William and Kate's final engagement of the day was a reception at Eden Hall, the British High Commissioner's residence, for prominent Singaporeans and members of the British and international expatriate communities. The royals joined guests from the world of politics, business, the arts and sports.

Eden Hall was built in 1904 on a four and a half acre plot, which used to be part of a nutmeg plantation. The Foreign and Commonwealth office has worked hard to maintain the house in its original form. It has been described as an Edwardian 'minor masterpiece'.

The Duke and Duchess heard a performance from an artist in the Musicity programme, which is a musical project supported by the British Council that blends British, Singaporean and other musical genres.

Kate raised her glass for the toast.

Kate smiled as she signed the guest book and she appeared to have a lovely evening at the reception.

Kate wore a floral-print dress by Erdem. The chiffon dress has a pleated skirt, exposed back and loose-fitting sleeves. The Duchess first wore Erdem when she stepped off the plane during the Canada tour and the Canadian designer has become a favourite of hers since.

Kate's dress is a modified version of this piece from the Spring/Summer 2012 Collection.
