Kate's heartfelt thank you letter to Wimbledon chiefs

The Duchess of Cambridge has been a fan of Wimbledon for years. When going to watch the likes of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, Kate would have hoped to have been able to enjoy the match in privacy. Thanks to Wimbledon chiefs she was able too enjoy the game like any other fan. A letter from Kate thanking Wimbledon chiefs has been released. She wrote the letter in 2008 thanking them for the 'wonderful seats' she and her friend enjoyed during Centre Court games. The letter was unveiled at the museum inside the Wimbledon Tennis Centre. The letter reads as follows:

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your kind hospitality at Wimbledon last week. My friend and I had such a fantastic time and it was great to be able to enjoy the day knowing that we could have a little peace and quiet if things got a little too hectic.
It was a wonderfully relaxed day and we even spent part of it on the 'Henman/Murray' hill which was great fun. I really was not expecting to be looked after with such hospitality and I certainly wasn't expecting to see any of the centre court games. Thank you so much for the wonderful seats. It was so special to see Murray's game and Nadal's easy walk into the quarter finals.
Thank you again for making it such a fun and enjoyable/easy visit.

Best Wishes,
Catherine Middleton
